Harpa, the Reykjavík Concert Hall and Conference Centre by the Reykjavik harbour is not only home to the Iceland Symphony Orchestra and the Icelandic Opera, it is also the location of one of Reykjavik‘s newest fine restaurants, Kolabrautin. Situated at the 4th floor of Harpa, Kolabrautin is open for dinner every night. The kitchen is in the middle of the room, where the fiery furnace gives the dinner guests a warm welcome. The restaurants seats up to 180 people. Kolabrautin is an ideal choice for people who appreciate fine cuisine combined with unique architecture and elegant atmosphere.

The bar at Kolabrautin is an ideal place to grab an aperitif and some snacks before a show. The wide variety of cocktails and wines served by professionals is the pride of the bar. The one of a kind view, fabulous a la carte menu and ambitious wine list come together to create the perfect evening for you. The evening menu consists of exotic starters, fresh seafood, pasta, meat dishes and savoury desserts. The menus change from time to time, but they‘re consistently appetizing and palatable.

The cured and smoked goose with Icelandic cheese Odlingur, blue cheese and blackberries would be a great start of your upscale culinary experience at Kolabrautin. Main courses such as the light-salted cod with carrots, grapes, chorizo and langoustine glaze, or the moroccan spice meatballs with potato gnocchi, onion, pistachio and tomato sauce are sure to please. Last but definitely not least, we urge you to indulge in a fabulous dessert. We recommend the vanilla risotto with melon, mango, blood orange and basil, or the selection of icelandic cheese with grilled sourbread and Icelandic honey. There is also a lunch menu at Kolabrautin, which is a little more affordable than the rest.

You can‘t go to Iceland and not visit Harpa, and you can‘t go to Harpa and not dine at Kolabrautin. It‘s as simple as that. Treat yourself to an unforgettable dining experience in the heart of Reykjavik.
